WHAT IS
A CAKE POP?
A Cake Pop is a small round piece of cake coated with chocolate and fixed on the end of a stick so as to resemble a lollipop.
Dripping Sweet's cake pops are baked from scratch using premium and fresh ingredients.
Once the cake cools, it is then crumbled and molded into different shapes and sizes. A stick is applied to the newly formed cake ball and is then carefully dipped into velvety candy melts that will harden once cooled. Since the cake is encased in smooth and shiny candy melt, the cake’s flavor and moisture is locked in until the first bite. The last step is where Latrice uses her steady hands and her eye for detail to decorate the outside of the cake pop, creating designs that are beautiful and delicious!
Charwan Latrice, the creator and owner
of Dripping Sweet, started baking in her great grandmother's kitchen at a young age making the families famous banana pudding, pound cake and pineapple coconut cake. In early 2017, Dripping Sweet was born, Latrice began to make candy coated mini treats for church events and business spread from there. Since the beginning, Latrice prides herself and business on taste, quality, presentation and creativity.
